A Novel Compliant 2-DOF Ejector Pin Mechanism for the Mass Transfer of Robotic Mini-LED Chips

The continuous development of mini-LEDs has led to higher requirements for chip transfer technology, which makes it difficult the intermittent method with a mechanical ejector pin meet these requirements. To solve this problem, novel compliant 2-DOF mechanism mass robotic mini-LED chips is proposed in paper. compliance matrix and Newton are employed system kinematic modeling dynamics modeling, respectively. static dynamic analyses carried out via ANSYS Workbench, results FEA demonstrated effectiveness theoretical calculation. Then, an ILC utilized control device parameters regulation approach frequency domain. Finally, open-loop test trajectory tracking prototype verify device. indicate that working stroke reaches 120 μm, natural 250.85 Hz, coupling rate less than ±0.5% errors 10 20 Hz 30 sinusoidal signals all within ±1.5%. According analyses, test, been proved designed superiority effective.
